I was just introduced to your food by a good friend who's been eating it for years and I have to say, your dogs are the best! That's saying allot b/c, I'm originally from NY so I grew up on Nathans hot dogs.

This is, by best, the best dogs I've ever tasted. Our father took us to the have our first "all the way" with chocolate milk and fries at the old location and ever since, my whole family (who have long since moved from Jersey) have craved them. This is our #1 vacation spot!

I had a hotdog for lunch today. It was sooo boring. I told my husband how I still miss Johnny and Hanges hotdogs after 30 years. I have a hard time describing what "all the way" hotdogs taste like!! Just thought you"d like to know what an impression you made on me if I can still wax nostalgic about your food after three decades! Was delighted to see that you are still in business...and if I ever get up your way again I will be sure to stop by and dine on the best hotdogs I've ever eaten!! Thanks for the memories!

Best hamburgers, hot dogs, and fries in the world!!!!! The special sauce is what makes them so good. Three generations of my family have been J&H fans. My grandfather introduced them to my father and my father introduced them to me.

First thing I want to say is I love your food especially the sauce. I am 45 years old have lived in this area my whole life used to go to Patterson location with my dad and I now bring my 10 and 8 year old kids about twice a week and they love it. Perhaps having the menu on the web page would be a good idea in case someone wants to try something new and think about it in advance. Final comment place is always very clean and service is beyond excellent I recommend to everyone thanks again.

I just read the cartoon, Zippy, in the Sunday paper and saw a cameo of your restaurant! Brought back great memories.

In the 1970's when I was member of the Hawthorne Ambulance Corps. The Hawthorne Police Dept. had a code often heard over the radio "Barking dogs Wagaraw and Fifth Ave." to tell the nearest unit to pick up hot dogs at your old location. Every friday we would meet at the ambulance garage for hot dogs.

Hi! My boyfriend lives in Fair Lawn (I'm from Mt. Vernon, NY), and we often stop in for some dogs and fries!! Great place! Every small town should have one! The one by me is called "Walters"! Keep up the good work--see you soon!! --Clash

I was a student at St. Luke's High School, class of 1950, in Ho-Ho-Kus. Our favorite "hang out" was your restaurant somewhere in the vicinity of Fair Lawn. My brother, Steve, living in South Carolina recently visited your area and sent me a Johnny & Hanges T shirt. I will wear it proudly at our family reunion in Helena, Montana next week. That was a great father's day gift, right!! My wife and I were classmates at St Luke's and we are married 56 years this year. Your restaurant brings back some great memories for a lot of us in that class. Many thanks for your success. Next time we are in the area, we certainly will stop in and enjoy the "Classics" Regards Edward a Boylan

I am 36 years old and I remember my grandparents and aunts taking me to buy a hot dog and and gravy fries. I am now grown and live in Fl. and can't wait to take my kids to Jersey for the first time and bring them to have a great hot dog and fries.

My mom and dad ate at the Paterson location when they were dating in the 40's. They went to Eastside HS and mom was a nurse at Paterson General. As little kids they took us there to experience the hot dogs. We heard the place was closed...must stop in when we go through NJ in July. GREAT Memories!
